Obituary:
Stephen S. Lowther, Sr., 60 of Medina passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at his residence. He was born March 24, 1950 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania to William D. and Margaret (nee Bako) Lowther and was retired from Ford Motor Company as an industrial truck mechanic. He was a member of the Marine Corps League, enjoyed music and spending time with his family. Mr. Lowther is survived by his wife Cynthia E. (nee Halupnik); children Stephen (Mary), Daniel, Mary (Michael) Gallagher, and Anne Lowther; siblings Barbara Copperman, Geraldine (Dennis) Jolly, and Richard Lowther; and grandchildren Rachel Romano, Victoria, Grace, and Sophia Lowther, and Michael Gallagher. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers William D. Jr. and Michael Lowther. Friends may join the family for visitation on Friday, July 16, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (Corner of Route 18 & River Styx Road), Medina. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Francis Xavier Church with Father Bob Lorkowski officiating. Interment will follow in St. Francis Cemetery.
