EDWARD JOHN SVOBODA

Edward John Svoboda, age 71 of Medina, passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2017. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on March 24, 1946 to Edward and Anne (nee Guadagnoli) Svoboda. Ed and Mary Ann (nee Incorvaia) were married on September 25, 1965. He enjoyed his Cleveland sports teams, fishing and playing the slots.

Ed leaves behind his loving wife Mary Ann, son; Edward F.(Andrea), daughter, Lisa Svoboda-Matthews, son, John W. (Renee) and his grandchildren; Jacob, Eddie, Jordan, Morgan, Leah, MacKenzi, Samantha, Johnny and Juliana. Ed was preceded in death by his parents and sister Patricia Witcraft.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2017 from 4 to 9 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (corner of River Styx & Rt. 18), Medina, Ohio 44256 also at 9 AM at Carlson Funeral Home on Friday, June 16, 2017 for procession to St. Francis Xavier Church, 606 E. Washington Street, Medina, Ohio for Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM. Fr. Thomas Kowatch officiating. Burial to follow in St. Francis Cemetery.
