KATHY LYNN CAMPBELL

July 27, 1965 — March 20, 2015

Kathy Lynn Campbell (Bartko), 49, of Brunswick, passed away Friday 3/20/2015. Kathy, a loving & devoted mother, is survived by her daughters, Rebbecca Campbell of Medina and Sarah Campbell of North Ridgeville; her beloved granddaughter, Ava Campbell; her three sisters, Becky Grove Cunningham (Steve), Cheryl Ashcraft (Brian) and Cindy Cook (Wade); her long-time companion Clifton Rhodes, his children Jamie Rhodes-Lugo (Miguel), Katie Hursky (Eddie), Steven Rhodes, and Clifton’s grandchildren, Nevaeh and Eliana; Her devoted dog, Gizmo; her ex-husband, Timothy Campbell, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Louise A. Bartko in 1995; her dad, Alfred A Bartko in 1996; and her cherished mother, Marion J. Wurstner in 1998.

Kathy was born in Parma, OH. She graduated from Brunswick High School in 1984. She had previously been a server at Steve’s Dakota Grill in Medina.

Kathy’s daughters, along with her family and Clifton & his family will be having a celebration of life for Kathy at the Brunswick Eagles #3505, 349 Pearl Road, Brunswick, on Sunday, March 29, 2015 from 1pm-4pm, to bring together all of the people whose lives were touched by Kathy and her good sense of humor.

Kathy waged a valiant fight against Lupus since being diagnosed in her early 20’s. In Lieu of flowers, Kathy’s daughters request that donations be made, in Kathy’s name, to Greater Cleveland Lupus Foundation, 12930 Chippewa Rd #4, Brecksville, OH 44141 or the Medina County Animal Shelter, 6334 Deerview Lane, Medina, OH 44256.

Arrangements were entrusted to Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Rd., Brunswick, Ohio 44212.
