Obituary: |
Gerald M. “Jerry” Fussi, 64 of Chippewa Lake passed away on February 13, 2012 with his loving family by his side. He was born September 3, 1947 in Cleveland to Joseph and Violet (nee Soss) Fussi. Jerry was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the US Army. He was a lifetime member of the VFW Post #5137, Lodi Legion and was a lifetime member of Disabled Vets. Jerry loved his family, wife, children, grandchildren, friends and honored his country. He is survived by his loving wife Andrea (nee Liptak), children: Deanna and Michael; siblings: David Fussi, Linda Dayton and Wayne (Linda) Fussi; grandchildren: Michael, Nathan, and Rodney. Gerald was preceded in death by his parents and grandson Rick. Friends may join the family for Graveside Service at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery on Wednesday, February 22 , 2012 at 12:30 PM. Please join the family for fellowship and lunch at the Medina VFW Post # 5137 following service. Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road (½ mile South of Route 303), Brunswick has been entrusted with final arrangements.
