To Our Families Near and Far

Information on Funerals and COVID-19

As with everyone else, all over the world, we have been closely and will continue to keep monitoring the COVID-19 situation as it continues to evolve. While each passing day brings new developments, our top priority continues to be the health and well-being of the families we serve and those who serve alongside us.

We ask the public, and our families, to adhere to the following CDC recommended guidelines:

If you are presently sick or considered high-risk for serious illness from COVID-19, the CDC recommends that you avoid large crowds. For your safety, we ask that you stay home. We invite you to support your loved ones in other tangible ways through various digital platforms, gifts of meals or flowers, or simply by lending a listening ear.

If you are healthy and attending a visitation or funeral, we ask you to comply to the following prevention strategy guidelines from the CDC:

Cover your coughs and sneezes with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.

Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.

Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.

Furthermore, to protect the elderly and those at high-risk from this virus, we have increased our cleaning regimen at all three of our locations to provide you with a fully sanitized building every two hours. In addition, hand sanitizer is located throughout our buildings for your convenience.

Please know this is a dynamic situation and any changes that we’ve made, or will be making in the future, are intended to help us navigate this unprecedented experience with your safety top of mind. From all of us at Carlson’s, we appreciate your cooperation and understanding. If you would like to discuss this further, we invite you to contact us. Please also feel free to contact the Ohio COVID-19 Info Center at 1-833-427-5634 or online at www.coronavirus.ohio.gov

As always, we will keep you and your loved ones, in our prayers.
