Daniel Lane Vincent grew up in Garrettsville and was an Ohio resident for all of his 34 years. He graduated from J.A. Garfield in 1997 and then began his unparalleled dedication to hard work, including employment at Hiram College, Mobility Works of Akron, and AECOM of Libya.
He currently owned and managed Guys Pizza Co. in Cuyahoga Falls. Dan was kind-hearted, funny, generous, and was a friend to everyone he met. He made many friends playing first-chair trumpet in the school band; performing in plays; playing baseball and basketball; and running cross country. He also enjoyed building his business, laughing with friends, telling jokes, going to Cleveland sporting events, and playing Rock Band with his nieces and nephews.
Dan married the love of his life, Victoria (Riley) on August 28, 2010, and he loved her from here to Libya and back. Together, they raised with love their daughter, Madison, and looked forward to the birth of a baby girl in March.
He was loved and is survived by his mother and father, David and Cindy (Garrettsville); beloved grandmother, Velma J. Read (Garrettsville); sister, Beth Martineau (husband Gabe, Columbus); brothers, Paul (wife Kateri, Bay Village) and Adam (wife Cara, Stow); in-laws, Steven and Threasa Riley (Nelson), Robert Riley (wife Connie, Oklahoma); Marsha Rinard (husband Jacob, Texas); Michelle Zimmerman (Idaho); Malinda Boyd (husband Kristopher, Aurora); fifteen nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles; many caring cousins and close friends.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 4th, from 5-8 p.m. at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, Ohio 44231. A memorial mass will take place at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Garrettsville on Thursday, December 5th, at 10 a.m. PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH. Daniel will be laid to rest in Park Cemetery in Garrettsville.
