City: Lafayette Township : : : Obituary: Albert J. Hawker Sr. 57, passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2012. He retired from the City of Cleveland as the Deputy Commissioner of IT. He leaves behind his beloved wife Vicki (nee Kurlich), children; Bonny (Robert) Hawker-Myers, Christopher, Rocky (Tristina), Albert Jr. , grandchildren; Ashley C. , Tiffany L., Talan J. and Halle V. Posey, brother Rudy. Albert was preceded in death by his parents Wilbert and Genevieve. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 21, 2012 from 10:30 to 11:30 AM at Carlson Funeral Home 3477 Medina Road (River Styx and Rt. 18) Medina, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Francis Xavier Church 606 E. Washington St. Medina at Noon with Fr. Tony Sejba officiating. Private inurnment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Contributions may be made to the Medina County SPCA, St. Jude or Metro General Spinal Cord Injury Center.
