ALFRED A. POTTEIGER

Alfred A. Potteiger, 71 of Ravenna, passed away at his residence on Monday, December 13, 2010. He was born September 21, 1939 in Akron, Ohio to the late Alfred A. and Mae (Felmly) Potteiger.
He was a machinist at Consolidated Molding for 43 years. Alfred was a member of Ravenna Moose Lodge #1234, and was an avid bowler. He enjoyed home remodeling, fishing and reading, but most enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Bonnie (Stevens) Potteiger of Ravenna; children, Todd, Troy, and Tammy Potteiger, all of Kent; April (Greg) Butcher and Billy (Shawna) Potteiger all of Ravenna; and James (Tina) Potteiger and Kevin Gonsalves all of Garrettsville; and seven grandchildren.
Calling hours are 12 to 2 PM on Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010 at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, Oh 44231. A Memorial Service will follow on Saturday at 2 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Drakesburg Cemetery, Freedom Twp. at a later date.
