Arlen W. Garnett, age 80, of Brunswick Hills, passed away on December 30, 2018. He was born on February 28, 1938 in Brownsville, PA to the late, Thomas and Marcella (nee Turner) Garnett.
Arlen enjoyed casinos and the open road. He loved to travel; often taking vacations, road trips, and fishing with the grandkids. He was very fond of chocolate, especially peanut butter cups. Arlen was also an animal lover and enjoyed his Westerns, especially John Wayne movies.
He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 59 years, Carole (nee Rzonca); children, Chris, Laurie (Dominic) Constantine, Tracy (Robert) Gates; grandchildren, Crista, Lauren; extended grandchildren, Crystal, Heidi; and brother, Ronald (Sandy).
He was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas (Stella).
Friends may join the family for visitation on Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. A Funeral Service will follow at 8:00 PM.
