BARBARA ANN FLAK

Photo: Obituary: Barbara Ann Flak age 70 of Medina, passed away May 2, 2013 at University Hospital of Cleveland. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Anthony and Nancy (nee Falzone) Arena on December 22, 1942. She and Stanley F. Flak Jr. were married May 21, 1966 and after raising her 3 children she was employed at Our Lady of the Elms as Secretary for 12 years. Barbara Ann loved her family and enjoyed baking, scrap booking and shopping. She will be missed by so many especially her husband Stan, son Michael A. (Lori), daughter Sandra (Mark) Flak-Montgomery, son Stanley J. (Naomi). She was Nonnie to her beloved grandchildren; Allison, Amy, Michael, Anna, William, Keira, Kristina, Evan, Wendy and Anastasia. She also leaves behind her brother David (Norma) Gaeta. She was a beloved Aunt and Godmother to many. Barbara Ann was preceded in death by her parents, brother Russell and her grandson Brian Andrew. Visitation with family will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 from 4 to 8 PM at Carlson Funeral Home 3477 Medina Road (corner of Rt. 18 and River Styx Rd.) Medina, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at St. Francis Xavier Church 606 E. Washington St. Medina. Fr. Tony Sejba officiating. (PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH). Burial to follow in St. Francis Cemetery.
