BERTON L. MANTZ

Berton Mantz, age 85, of Medina, passed away on December 19, 2021. He was born on November 28, 1936, at Medina, OH to Jay and Ellen (nee Myers) Mantz.
He served in the United States Army as an E4 from 1959 to 1965. After leaving the Army he joined the Medina County Highway Dept. He became an electrician and owned Best Electric from which he retired in 2006. Following his retirement he served as an electrical inspector for Medina Co. for 9 years.
Berton is survived by his sons Brian (Jennifer) Mantz), and Brent (Kimberly) Mantz, and Grandson, Bryce Mantz.
In addition to his parents, Berton was preceded in death by his wife Joan Mantz in 2019, his Brother Raymond Mantz and a Sister Joan Mueller.
Per Berton's wishes, cremation has taken place. All services for Berton are private and have been entrusted to Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Medina Rd. Medina, OH.
