Betty L. Murphy

Betty L. Murphy, 80 of Garrettsville, passed away at Robinson Memorial Hospital on Friday, January 20, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 28, 1931 in Wheeling, West Virginia to James Leroy and Hazel (Wheeler) Hinegardener. Betty was a homemaker and enjoyed baking cookies, playing bingo, and flowers. She especially enjoyed karaoke, and was known as “Mama Buck”. Betty is survived by her daughters Vera (Ernie) Murphy of Warren and Kathy (Jake) Murphy of Mantua; son James (Robin) Murphy of Garrettsville; sister Daisy and brother James; grandchildren, Doug Lamb Jr, Vernon (Jessica) Lynn and Sabrina Murphy and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Vernon K. Murphy and siblings.
