Betty Stephens, 76, of Freedom Twp., passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at her residence with her loving family at her side. She was born April 23, 1934 in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Alva and Mary (Kinder) Morton.
Betty was a homemaker and an avid reader. She was a loving Grandma to her beloved grandchildren and cherished spending time with her family and friends.
Betty is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years, Carmen Stephens, whom she married in 1958; son, Raymond (Pamela) Stephens of Indiana; daughter, Linda (Bill) Conway of Chardon; sisters, Maxine (Jimmy) Foster of West Virginia and Gerrie Sutphin of Florida; and grandchildren, Ryan, Erin, Riley, Jake and Sara.
Graveside services will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Drakesburg Cemetery in Freedom Township with Pastor Rick Hughes officiating.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231.
