Carol A. Bowen, 81, of Windham, passed away, Wednesday October 24th in Ravenna, Ohio.
Carol was born October 12, 1931, to Arthur Ashbaugh and Hazel Parthemer in Niles, Ohio.
She was a factory worker at the Ravenna Arsenal, Mantaline in Mantua, and Performance Elastomers in Ravenna. Carol was an avid homemaker and raised her family in Mantua and Windham. She loved to do crossword puzzles and keep up with her grandkids on Facebook. But most of all she loved to spend time with her beloved family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Linda (Chuck) Apthorpe of Windham, Kathryn (Bill) Velican of Niles, Dorothy Stier of Ravenna, John (Pam)Bowen of Ravenna, Laura (Ron) Beatty of Virginia, Art (Janice) Bowen of Hartville, and Barbara (Ric) Everly of Rootstown, sister Evelyn Wiley of Brady Lake, 18 Grandchildren and 12 Great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dave Rininger, son Danny, brother Calvin and sister Jean.
