CAROLE L. OROSZ

Carole Orosz, 68 passed away July 26, 2020 surrounded by her family. She was born on November 11, 1951 to the late Walter and Dolores Barrows. Beloved wife to John, loving mother to Heather Casola (former spouse Ray Casola), and Lisa (John) Evans. Grandmother to Raymond Casola, Giovanni Casola, Alessandra Casola, Charlotte (Kevin) Schubert, Antonino Casola, Santino Casola, Spencer Evans, Savannah Evans and Lilah Evans. Great grandmother to Mila Casola, Sister to Clifford (Roberta) Barrows and Walter (Linda) Barrows. Carole was preceded in death by her parents and her granddaughter, Hope Evans.

Carole was married for 48 years to the love of her life, John. Through the years they enjoyed many adventures together. They spent time traveling, golfing, and riding on their motorcycle. They truly lived life to the fullest.

Carole's number one priority was her family. She loved having all of her grandchildren at her home for holidays. She treasured her family traditions and passed them down to her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports and beamed with pride as they graduated.

Carole served a lifetime in the Credit Union business. She held many titles including CEO, board president, and sitting board member. She dedicated her life to this industry and made many friends along the way.

In her spare time Carole enjoyed spending time at her summer home in South Carolina, where she made many life long friends. She was an avid shopper, and taught her girls how to find a bargain. Carole loved telling stories, especially about her hometown, Cleveland, Ohio.

Carole battled diabetes most of her adult life. In the last five years she also battled kidney disease. These two illness ultimately effected her heart, which took her life. Carole will be missed by all who knew her, especially her family.

Calling hours for Carole will be held Sunday, August 2, 2020 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM, with a funeral service at 4:00PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road, Medina, OH 44256. Interment for Carole will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date.
