Charlotte Ann (Guinter) Konzen, 79, passed away on Friday, December 31, 2010, in Ravenna, Ohio in the presence of her loving family. She was born on August 17, 1931, to Louis and Pearl (Ritzman) Guinter in Akron, Ohio.
She worked as a cashier at A & P Grocery, owner of Cheese Nook Deli & Bakery with her husband Walter, and W & C Crafts from her home. Charlotte enjoyed needle point, cross stitching, and playing the piano. She was an avid Notre Dame and Browns fan and cherished spending time with her beloved family and friends.
Charlotte is survived by her children; John ( Claudia ) Garrett of Freedom, Carolyn ( Howard ) Davis of Ravenna, Roy ( Debbie ) Garrett of Garrettsville, Tanya ( Jerry ) Blevins of Atwater, Matthew ( Carol ) Garrett of Ravenna, Diane Konzen of Ravenna, David ( Julie ) Konzen of Windham, Sheila Silvis of Streetsboro, and Kay Bragg of Ravenna; 19 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren; and best friend Marilyn Bartunek.
She was preceded in death by her parents Louis and Pearl Guinter, husband Walter Konzen, brother Thomas Guinter, and grandchildren Michael Silvis and Charlotte Garrett.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2011, from 10 A.M.- 1 P.M. at Mallory-DeHaven –Carlson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231. Funeral services will follow at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Garrettsville at 1:30 P.M. Burial will follow at Drakesburg Cemetery.
