CHUCK WADDELL

October 7, 1970 — October 7, 2021

Chuck Waddell, died unexpectedly after a short illness on his 51st birthday, October 7, 2021. He will be terribly missed by his wife, soulmate, and best friend of 29 years, Kaeri Waddell (Manuguerra) and sons Noah & Logan and daughter Jordan, brother Chris (Millie) and nephew Tyler & niece Meredith, in laws Pete & Jan Manuguerra and many friends.

Chuck was a proud, patriotic Marine, a loyal, loving, and dedicated husband and Dad. He was extremely proud of his 3 children. His family was everything to him and he loved being a Dad. He loved spending time with his kids and family, watching them play sports and coached Noah and Logan in youth football leagues for years. He would also take his daughter on special Daddy daughter dates and have man time with his boys. He also expected greatness from his kids and pleased that they excelled in academics. He also cared deeply for his brother Chris and his wife Millie, niece Meredith and nephew Tyler.

He met his wife, Kaeri in a club one Friday night in Ohio. It was love at first sight. The weekend they met they decided to get married. He was an adoring and loving husband. Despite the odds of not really knowing each other, they were together 29 years.

He also thought the world of his in laws. Helping his father-in-law, Pete Manuguerra with projects around the house or anything needed. He took his mother-in-law on day trips or weekend historical getaways since they both had shared loved of history. He suggested moving to Ohio when he was honorably discharged to be close to them even though he loved Northern Virginia, where he grew up.

He was a preceptor at Cuyahoga Community College in the respiratory therapy department and worked a MetroHealth Medical Center for several years and especially loved working in pediatric and neonatal department.

Chuck was quiet and reserved and didn't like the spotlight, but he was opinionated and stubborn. He had a great sense of humor and loved pranks. He was also a man of his word. He showed up and was there for family and friends whenever needed. Everything he did in life he gave everything he had.

Please join the family for a Memorial Visitation Saturday, October 16th, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services 3477 Medina Rd., (corner of Rte 18 and River Styx Rd.) Medina, OH 44256. A service will be held after visitation.
