Clayton Carter, 46, beloved father, son, and brother, was called to his eternal resting place on January 19, 2022. He entered this world on September 7, 1975, in Weston, WV, born to Edward and Nancy (McCauley) Carter. He liked to fish and play pool as much as possible. Clayton enjoyed cooking because he loved to eat! He always wanted to help anyone who needed a hand - Clayton had a huge heart. Clayton will be deeply missed by his children, Ethan Carter and Doress Rose; mother, Nancy Starcher; brothers, Charles (Brandy) Carter and Travis Carter; aunts, Cathy Dye, Dotti Dougherty, and Pat Hanel; uncles, Roger Carter and Joey Carter; nephews, Michael Carter, Christopher Carter, Seth Carter, Dawson Carter, and Charles Carter; nieces, Adreannia Carter, and Cheyenne Carter, as well as many other loving relatives and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Carter; grandparents, Roscoe & Eula Carter and Ernest & Thelma McCauley; uncle and aunt, Popeye & Jackie Carter, and aunts, Barbie Williams and Jean Parnaby. A Celebration of Life to honor Clayton's memory will be Saturday, February 12, 2022, from 1:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. at the Freedom Town Hall, 8966 OH-700, Ravenna, OH 44266. All services for Clayton were entrusted to Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH, 44231.
