D. WAYNE RICHARDS

D. Wayne Richards, 65, of Garrettsville, Ohio, passed away at his residence on December 26, 2012, after a life of service to his God Jehovah. He was born February 15, 1947, to Dorsey and Clara Richards in Garfield Heights, Ohio.
Wayne graduated with Phi Theta Kappa honors from Pasco Hernando Community College with a degree in Nursing. He was a retired registered nurse. Wayne was an elder and full-time minister for Jehovah’s Witnesses as well as a mentor and teacher. He was also a disaster relief worker and zealous world traveler. Wayne cherished spending time with his beloved family and friends.
He is survived by his children Scott and Brian Richards of Ohio, Jacob Richards of Florida, Julie (Ron) Warner of California, Jenevieve Richards of Florida, and Joshua Richards of New York.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Marian.
A memorial service will held on Saturday, January 5, 2013, at 5 P.M. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 10911 North 52nd Street, Tampa, FL 33617. A memorial service will held on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 2 P.M. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1406 Broadway Avenue, Bedford, OH 44146. Care for Wayne was entrusted to Mallory-Dehaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Garrettsville.
