Daisy Veverka, 89, of Garrettsville, passed away on October 12, 2016. She was born on March 24, 1927 in Queensland, Australia to Thomas and Agnes (Smith) Goff.
She was one of Bob Hope’s USO dancers and a Las Vegas Showgirls.
Daisy is survived by her son, Kenneth Veverka of Nelson Twp; daughter, Dorena Mullee of Las Vegas and dear friend and caregiver, Barbara Genis.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Thomas George, George Albert and William Richard and sisters, Violet Florrie, Rose May, Gertrude May, Ethel Agnes, Ivy Maude and Doris Ruby.
Graveside service to be held on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Park Cemetery in Garrettsville, Ohio. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Garrettsville, Ohio.
