Photo: Obituary: Dale Jerome Bittner, 63 of Brunswick, passed away on November 28, 2011 with his loving family by his side. Dale was born on June 3, 1958 in Parma, Ohio. He was a US Army Veteran serving in Vietnam. Dale was a member of the U.A.W. Local #1005, Brunswick VFW # 9520 and a previous member of Brunswick Eagles # 3505 and was a lifetime member of the N.R.A. Dale was an Award winning National Marksmen. He worked at Ford Motor Company, retiring in 2005. He is survived by his wife Diana; children: Anne Richter of Germany, Shelby Workman of Brunswick and Travis Workman of Brunswick; grandsons Dean and Luis Richter; granddaughter Savannah Workman. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 11:00 at Mount Pleasant Methodist Church, 2768 Laurel Road, Brunswick with Pastor Marta Mathatas officiating. Inurnment will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date. Family requests donations be made to Brunswick Eagles Christmas Fund, 349 Pearl Road, Brunswick, OH 44212.
