Dan A. John, 64, of Windham, passed away on September 21, 2016. He was born on June 15, 1952 in Warren, Ohio to Delbert and Emma (Schrecengost) John. Dan married the love of his life, Marilyn (Nuzum) John, on July 17, 1987.
He was a member of the Carpenters Union Local # 171 and Millwright Piledriver Local # 1090. Dan was a devoted church member of the Windham Bible Church.
Dan is survived by his wife, Marilyn; children, Sarah John of Colorado, Abagail John, Dylan John and Lauren John all of Windham; sisters, Cairo “Kay” Mizner of Windham and Joy Lynn (Terry) John-Conry of Athens and grandson, Kyle Lesko.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sondra Seely.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 25, 2016 from 2-5 PM at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, Ohio. Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, September 26, 2016, 11 AM at the Windham Bible Church, 9550 Parkman Rd., Windham, Ohio with Pastor Chad Froelich officiating.
