David H. Rodgers, age 67, of Wooster, previously of Brunswick for 29 years, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at the Cleveland Clinic. He was born on May 29, 1946 in Buena Vista, Ohio.
David served in the United States Army. He was a wonderful person who would light up a room. David enjoyed golf, casino trips, and long day trips spending time at picnics, and cookouts with family and friends.
He will be missed by his beloved wife of 46 years, Brenda (nee Mitchell); children, Renee (Laszlo) Bedocs, Linda (Rich) Spence, Donna (Donald) Ryan, JoAnn (Chris) Daum, grandchildren; Heather, Rosie, Alisha, Jacob, David, Richie, Samantha, Tyler, and great-grandson Lyle Jr., sister Anna Marie Rodgers and brother-in-law Roy Mitchell (Rita) also many nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his mother Rose Lee Rodgers; grandson Ryan, brother-in-law Charles Mitchell; sister-in-law Rita Cox; mother and father-in-law; Warren and Edith Bryant.
Friends may join the family for Visitation on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 from 4 to 8 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. Funeral Service on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at 11AM also at the funeral home. Burial in Eastlawn Memory Gardens, 2869 Grafton Road, Brunswick, Ohio 44212.
