DENNIS R. "DENNY" LONG

Dennis R. “Denny” Long, 68, of Nelson, passed away on Friday, September 28, 2012 in Ravenna.
He was born March 18, 1944 in Ravenna to Robert and Marjorie (Bell) Long.
Denny served in the United States Army during Vietnam. After his service he worked at W.S. Tyler where he was a press operator. Denny was a member of VFW Post #7200 in West Farmington, and the Trumball Gun Club. He enjoyed the outdoors, riding his Harley, and spending time with his friends. He is survived by his sister-in-law Donna Long of Nelson; and his dog Nibbles.
Denny was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Marty.
Friends may join the family for his visitation on Monday, October 1, 2012 from 7-9 P.M. at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231. His funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at 11 A.M. Interment will follow at Harrington Cemetery in Nelson Township with full military honors.
