DOLORES M. BROWN
December 17, 1932 — August 10, 2013
Dolores M. Brown (nee Lewis), 80, of Ravenna, passed away on Friday, August 9, 2013 at her home. She was born December 17, 1932 in Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania the daughter of Sanford and Estella Lewis.
She was an avid Browns and Indians fan. She loved to play Bingo and sing. Her grandchildren were the love of her life.
Dolores is survived by her sons Bobby (Paula) of Ravenna and Wayne of Diamond; one brother, Rodger (Nancy) Lewis of Acme, Pa and sisters, Helen Whitesell and Ruth Park both of Punxsutawney, Pa; 5 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Leonard J. Brown, whom she married December 24th, 1949 and four brothers.
Dolores donated her body to science.
There will be a celebration of her life on Tuesday August 13, 2013 at Noon at Baptist Bible Church 6719 St. Rte 225 Ravenna, Ohio. Pastor Mike McLaughlin will officiate. A dinner will immediately follow.
The family suggests contributions may be made to Robinson Memorial Hospice.
Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231 were entrusted with arrangements.
