Donald Joseph Cilibraise, age 58, of Medina, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2019. He was born on April 13, 1960, in Detroit, MI, to Joseph and Joanne (nee Karlek) Cilibraise.
Donald was a self-taught jack of all trades, master of most. His passion was also his work; traveling the country, building backyard observatories. He became an amateur photographer, documenting all the beautiful landscapes seen during his travels.
He will be dearly missed by his father, Joseph (Dolores (nee Mueller); son, Thomas and daughter, Aeran (Matthew O’Donnell); sisters, Deborah (Robert) Zabloudil, Danette (David) Stout, Diane (Richard) Erhard; step brothers Lance (Shawna) Norris and Kristan (Beth) Norris; aunt, Dolores Karlek; and close friends, Scott & Diane Horstman.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Joanne, and son, Matthew Cilibraise.
Friends may join the family for Donald’s visitation on Thursday, April 11, 2019, from 5 to 7 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road, Medina, OH 44256. A Funeral Service will be held for Donald following visitation at 7 PM at the funeral home.
