Donna J. Thies (née Crookshanks), age 65, of Medina, OH, passed away on January 15, 2020. She was born on June 8, 1954, in Rainelle, WV, to the late Samuel and Genevieve (née *Kyle) Crookshanks.
Donna loved spending time with her family, friends, and dogs; as well as sewing, painting, gardening, and crafts; things that made the world a more beautiful place. She greatly enjoyed golfing, traveling, and being in the sun.
She will be dearly missed by her loving husband, Arnold; children, Crystal (Rich Seil) Thies, Kevin (Erin) Thies; sister, Karen (Kenneth) Bower; grandchildren, Sam, Liddy, and Caroline.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Connie (Johnny) Massengill and Sam Crookshanks.
Friends may join the family for a Celebration of Donna’s Life (NOT A FUNERAL) on Sunday, January 19, 2020, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road, Medina, OH 44256. A Memorial Service will take place at 4:30 PM.
