DORIS JEAN MEIXELBERGER

Doris Jean Meixelberger, 81, of Garrettsville, passed away April 30, 2013 following a two year battle with cancer. She was born September 12, 1931 in Pittsburgh, PA to Lloyd and Hazel (Freeman) Wright.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Henry Meixelberger whom she married January 23, 1948 and son, Robert Keith Meixelberger. She was a lamp maker at GE in Warren, OH and a member of First Baptist Church of Garrettsville.
She is survived by children, Bruce Meixelberger, Richard Meixelberger, Kim Schwan, Vikki Allen, Kevin Meixelberger, Bridget Bradley and Shawn Meixelberger; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be 5-8 PM on Friday, May 2, 2013 at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231. Funeral services will be on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 10 AM at the funeral home. Graveside services will follow at Park Cemetery, Garrettsville.
