Doris Schoessow, age 61, passed away on March 19, 2014.
She was a loving wife and best friend of Casey, who were together for over 30 years. Beloved mother of Gwen (Kenneth) Darnall; dear sister of Sandy (Cliff) Taylor, Virginia Stevenson, and Richard (Carleen) Hamrick; dear and loving aunt to many nieces and nephews and caring friend of many.
She was preceded in death by her parents Veda (nee Fertig) and Elwood Hamrick.
She loved her entire family, enjoyed gardening and was a long time active member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church in Brunswick.
Funeral services are private and entrusted to Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services. There will be a memorial service held on a later date at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist located at Laurel Rd and West 130th, Brunswick.
Donations may be made in her name to Mt. Pleasant Ladies Circle 2768 Laurel Rd, Brunswick, OH 44212.
