EILEEN R. GALLA

: Photo: Obituary: Eileen R. Galla age 85 of Medina Township, passed away Monday June 17, 2013. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on April 13, 1928 to Joseph and Rose (nee Franklin) Miller. Eileen and Matthew Galla were married April 18, 1953; they cherished their 60 years together. She was employed by the Brunswick Schools in food service. Eileen leaves behind her beloved husband, children; Deacon Daniel (Joanne) Galla, Laura (Don) Gavlak, Diane (Joel) Newberry, Joseph Galla, Warren (Lori) Galla, grandchildren; Brad (Erin), Bret (Carly), Chandra (Matthew) Greene, Derek Galla, Kyle Newberry and Cameron Galla, great-grandchildren; Emma, Lucy, Baileigh, Quinn, Gaven and one on the way. Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, and grandson Corey. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 from 4 to 8 PM at Carlson Funeral Home 3477 Medina Road (corner of River Styx and Rt. 18) Medina, Ohio. 11 AM, Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Holy Martyrs Church 3100 South Weymouth Road Medina. (PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH). Visitation will begin 1 hour prior to Mass at the church. Burial to follow in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery Rittman.
