Edward R. Janus

Edward R. Janus, 81, of Garrettsville, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2011 at Longmeadow Care Center. He was born May 12, 1930 in Briar Hill, PA to the late Ralph and Cathrine (Zoinierczyk) Janus. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and was in management at Ford Motor Company. Ed was a member of the Eagles and the Moose Club. He enjoyed landscaping, wood working, golfing, bowling, and spending time with his family and friends. Ed is survived by his son, Ralph (Christine) Janus of Windham, daughter, Connie Janus of Garrettsville, sisters, Anna Virgili of Pennsylvania and Deloris Journic of Streetsboro; grandchildren, Ashli, Joshua, Stephanie and Christina; great-grandchildren, Tori, Jada and one on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife, Nancy (Olesik) Janus. A Memorial Mass will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Garrettsville.
