Eleanor Faye Brunger, 91, of Elyria, passed away on October 10, 2016. She was born on December 15, 1924 to Floyd and Martha (Oldenberg) Hawke in Elyria, Ohio.
She enjoyed crafts, flowers and gardening. Eleanor loved to do water aerobics with friends at the YMCA and spend time with her beloved family.
Eleanor is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Lutes of Green Springs, OH and Glenna (James) Hovatter of Garrettsville; brother, Mike Hawke of Arkansas; grandchildren, Michael, Jennifer, Timothy, Loren and Anthony and many loving great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Gordon; sisters, Shirley and LaVora and brothers, Ernest and Russell.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, October 17, 2016 at 11 AM at Woodvale Cemetery, 7535 Engle Rd., Cleveland, Ohio. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, Ohio 44231.
