Eleanor M. Geiger

Eleanor M. Geiger, 101, of Aurora, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2011. She was born February 10, 1910 in Cleveland, Ohio to Frank and Anna Swanda. Eleanor was a dedicated and hard working realtor at Jean Geiger Realtors prior to her retirement. She also enjoyed gambling and travel. She is survived by niece Barbara (Jeff) Cook and nephew William (Nadine) Geiger; grand nephews Phillip Ippileto and Scott (Julie) Geiger; grand nieces Angela Ippileto, Regina (Jeff) Burkhart-Picoult, Melinda (finance Eric Kisner) Burkhart, and Lauren (Christopher) Urban. Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents, and her husbands Paul Blacek and Raymond Geiger, and many great grand nieces and nephews. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2011 from 12-1 P.M. at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231. Her memorial service will follow at 1 P.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Kris Patt officiating. Eleanor will be laid to rest at Highland Park Cemetery in Cleveland, OH.
