Ernest John Kish, 60, of Hiram Township, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2011. He was born March 3, 1951 in Cleveland, Ohio to Joseph and Eleanor (Buksa) Kish.
Ernest was a maintenance supervisor at F.C.I. He was a foster-father of 23 children and enjoyed fishing, military history, and candle making. He was an avid fan of Clint Eastwood and Steven Seagal.
Ernest is survived by his wife of 39 years, Christine, whom he married Oct. 16, 1971; sons, Paul (Debbie Whitt) of Columbus, Timothy of Hiram and daughter, Heather of Hiram; siblings, John (Irene) of Parma, Donald of Cleveland, Donna Takacs of Parma, Robert of Shaker Heights, Joseph (Linda), Michael, Leonard, Theresa (Glen) Case and Daniel all of Parma;and grandchild, Tegan Oliver.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Theresa Kish, and brother-in-law, Anthony Takacs.
Calling hours are Saturday, April 30, 2011 from 11:30 to 1 PM at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231 where Memorial Services will begin at 1 PM on Saturday at the funeral home.
