Eva Svehla, age 74, passed away on January 5, 2014. She was the daughter of Oldrich Krajca and Marie (nee Tesarova) Krajcova. She was born on December 18, 1939 in Czechoslovakia.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many who loved spending time with her family.
Eva will be dearly missed by her daughter Georgeann (Doug) Horvat; grandchildren, Chrissy (fiancé Ben Davey), Elizabeth and Michael; sister, Jitka Merinska; niece Jitka Merinska.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Anthony.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Thursday, January 9, 2014 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 10, 2014 at 10:00 AM at St. Ambrose Catholic Parish, 929 Pearl Road, Brunswick, Ohio 44212 with a visitation one hour prior at 9:00 AM (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Father Bob Wenz will be officiating. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 6303 Center Road, Valley City, Ohio 44280.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Ambrose Vision 20/20 Fund, 929 Pearl Road, Brunswick, Ohio 44212.
