EVA JULIANNA SZASZ

Eva Julianna Szasz, 81, of Garrettsville, passed away at her home unexpectedly on December 20, 2015. She was born on August 17, 1934 to Joseph and Emilia Berka in Budapest, Hungary.
She was a member of the Garrettsville Red hats, Eagles Club, and Portage County Women’s Bowling Association. Eva enjoyed golfing, bowling, and reading. She was an avid Trekkie. Eva loved to go on casino bus trips and spending time with her family and friends.
Eva is survived by her daughter, Eva (William Sponaugle, Sr.) Szasz; son, Frank (MaryAnn) Szasz; grandchildren, Randy and Ricky.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Attila.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, December 28, 2015, 11 AM at Drakesburg Cemetery in Freedom, Ohio with Pastor Kathy Thomas officiating.
