FORREST "DOUG" WELLS
June 1, 1928 — October 28, 2010
Forrest “Doug” Wells, 82 of Medina passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at Hospice of Medina at The Inn. He was born June 1, 1928 in Auxier, Kentucky to Jeff and Lora (nee Stapleton) Wells and was a United States Army Veteran.
He was a Supervisor for Ford Motor Company for 30 years and was a 50 year Mason.
Mr. Wells is survived by his wife of 55 years Lura “Jean” (nee Bleckley) Wells; children Sheri (Paul) Hudak and John (Janet) Wells; brother Fred (Joy) Wells; grandchildren Erica (Scott) Rainey, Katherine Hudak, Ashley Hendricks, and great-grandson Michael.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Samuel (Dixie) Wells and Robert (Nancy) Wells.
Friends may join the family to celebrate Doug’s life and memory on Saturday, October 30, 2010 from 2:00 to 5:00 with a Memorial Service at 5:00 P.M. at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (Corner of Route 18 & River Styx Road), Medina. Please meet the family for Graveside Services on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at 9:30 A.M. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Rittman.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Medina County, 797 N. Court Street, Medina, Ohio 44256.
