Francis Daniel Olsen, 67, of Medina, passed away surrounded by his loved ones on February 11, 2022. Francis was born on February 12, 1954 to Francis and Ann (nee Conners) Olsen in Boston, Massachusetts.
He was a passionate woodworker. Francis loved listening to the Grateful Dead, and in his younger years, was an avid camper and had many enjoyable memories of traveling through Europe. He was a dear uncle to many.
Francis is survived by his loving sisters Judith MacArthur, Joyce Kennedy, and Janet (Les) Lindenmeier, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers in law, Earl MacArthur, and Thomas Kennedy, nephew Bill Kennedy, and niece Bren Pedley.
The family would like to thank Crossroads Hospice for their wonderful care of Francis, and Summa Health Care for their compassionate souls.
In accordance with Francis' wishes, cremation has taken place. All services remain private. The family would greatly appreciate memorial donations be made to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital in Francis' name. www.https://www.stjude.org/donate or a charity of your choosing.
