GARY M. HAJEK SR.

Gary M. Hajek, age 68, of Brunswick, passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at his residence.
Gary was a graduate of Brunswick High School in 1969. He served in the US Navy where he was stationed on the USS Hermitage.
He had a caring and generous heart, was a role model to his children, loved his family, his garden and most importantly loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving sons, Gary II (Shannon), Robert, Eric (Karen) and James; his sister in law, Betty; dear sisters, Donna Smith, Mary (Martin) Polakowski and Deborah (Warren) Oblisk, cherished grandchildren, Brandon, Gianna, Harrison, Hudson, Hailey, Angela and Zachary.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Arlien (nee Wacker) Hajek, and brothers, Robert and Richard.
The family will receive friends for Gary on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon at Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick, where services will be held at Noon. Burial will follow in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville, Ohio.
