Gary E. Oros, 69, died unexpectedly on Monday, January 25, 2021 at his home in Garrettsville, Ohio, where he was a life-long resident. Gary was born on October 5, 1951, in Ravenna, Ohio to Tony and Harriett (Sheehan) Oros.
He graduated from James A. Garfield High School, then moved on to work as a Finish Carpenter with Cleveland Ohio Local Union #435, where he retired in 2012. He was a devoted stepfather, and loved his dog, Sugar. He enjoyed carpentry work, tools, his old trucks, NASCAR, and spending time with his mother. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.
Gary is survived by his wife, Linda (McCoy) Oros; mother, Harriett Oros; stepchildren, Marie (Jeffery Rock, Jr.) Rock, Mellissa Miller, and Samuel (Dana Osborne) McCoy.
He is preceded in death by his father.
Due to the pandemic, all services for Gary are private, and were entrusted to Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 8382 Center St. Garrettsville, Ohio 44231.
