Gloria K. Palmer, 74 of Hiram, passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born April 9, 1939 in Bellaire, Ohio to Marshall and Kathleen (Crozier) McCorkle.
Gloria was a homemaker and was Worthy Matron of Crescent #7 Order of the Eastern Star in Garrettsville.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Carl whom she married Sept. 15, 1956; daughters, Dawn (Tom) Barnhardt of Marysville, Rita (David) Shepherd of Red Bluff, Calif., and Marta (Steve) Truran of Hiram; brothers, Ed (Carole) McCorkle, Marshall McCorkle and Randy McCorkle; sister, Marsha (Jr.) Jackson; grandchildren, Michael Dicararo, Ashley (Jimmy) Stewart, Dustin (Liz) Shephard, Joshua (Tara) Shepherd; Sheila (Mitch) Hanes, Samuel Barnhardt, and Kyle Barnhardt; great-grandchildren, Savannah Rackley, Lillie Hanes and Gunner Shepherd.
Private family services will be held.
Arrangements were entrusted to Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231.
