Gordon Barry Shaide, age 76, of Brunswick, passed away on September 21, 2018. He was born on November 28, 1941 in Hanover, VA, to the late Winfred and Lillian (nee Meyers) Shaide.
Gordon was raised in Borup, MN. He was an U.S. Air Force Veteran and he retired from Delta Airlines after 36 years. He enjoyed spending his time on the computer and watching westerns.
He will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Kay (nee Fairbanks); children, Rebecca (Scott) Glancy, Barry (Judy) Shaide; grandchildren, Jessica, Gwen, Kayla, Gabrielle, Jack; and sister, Kyle (Don) Blada.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Valerie Olson and his grandson, Alexander.Shaide
Per Gordon's wishes there will be a graveside service for immediate family only at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, OH. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, Brunswick, OH.
