HAROLD D. JONES

Harold D. “Jonesie” Jones, age 75, of Brunswick, passed away surrounded by his loving family, Monday, May 13, 2019 at his residence, while under the care of Crossroads Hospice.

He was born on July 7, 1943 in Dorothy, WVA to the late Harold Allen and Thelma (nee Jarrell) Jones.

Harold retired in 1999 from Ford Motor Co. after 30 years of service. He enjoyed gardening, yard work, tinkering on cars of all types and fishing in the Metro parkway. He was a member of the UAW #1250.

Harold is survived by his loving daughter, Sandra Jennifer ( Campanion, Russell); dear siblings, Loretta Kay Williams, Sadie Marie (Marvin) Vangilder, Nellie Margaret Winck, ; cherished grandchildren, Christy, Linda, Ben and Andrew; dear great grandchildren, Heather, Adam, Madison, Dominic and Huntley; and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins and sister- in- law, Bonnie Jones; step sons, Timothy Ryan Deak and Ronald Steven Deak.

He was preceded in death by his 1st wife Linda (nee Conkle) 2nd wife, Patricia (nee Klish); siblings, Lorena Mae Jones Lester, James Everette Jones and Sarah Frances Jones.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick, where funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens, Brunswick.
