Hazel Pearl Wilber, 84, of Hiram Twp., passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at her residence. She was born March 5, 1927 in Garfield Hts., Ohio to the late James and Fannie (Gibson) Quesenberry.
Hazel was a buyer for the May Company and Higbee’s Department Stores. She enjoyed traveling and photography and loved her home.
Hazel is survived by her brothers, Glen (Libby) Quesenberry of Georgia and Carl (Judy) Quesenberry of Macedonia and her dear friends, Janet (Carl) Clark and Julian Kopec.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Paul Simek and Jack Wilber; sister, Mary Ely and brother, Roy Quesenberry.
Calling hours are 5-7 PM on Friday, May 20, 2011 at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231. Graveside services will be on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Crown Hill Cemetery, 8592 Darrow Rd., Twinsburg OH 44087 with Rev. Fred Bell officiating. PLEASE MEET AT THE CEMETERY.
