Helen Bodnar (nee Saramak), 80, of Brunswick, passed away Monday, November 20, 2017. She was born in Cleveland on February 17, 1937.
Beloved wife of the late Eugene Bodnar. Cherished mother of Constance Cobb (Alan Gros), Daniel (deceased) (Tracy). Dearest grandmother of Trevor and Drew Cobb, and Kayla Bodnar. Loving sister of Jane Gladish (Jerry) (deceased). Aunt and great aunt of many nieces and nephews. Helen was preceded in death by her brothers, Stanley, Teddy, Frank, Joseph; sister, Sophie Jajola; and parents, Joseph and Antonina Saramak.
She loved her family first and foremost. Helen was a proud homemaker and stay-at-home mom, working occasionally in retail. She loved needlework, cooking, gardening, and decorating.
Funeral Mass on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 10:00 am at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 929 Pearl Rd, Brunswick. Private Inurnment at Eastlawn Memory Gardens. Arrangements are entrusted to Carlson Funeral Home of Brunswick. In lieu of flowers, a contribution to St. Ambrose Catholic Church would please her the most.
