Helen R. Davis, 75 of Brunswick, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on October 2, 2010. She was born June 20, 1935 in Buckhannon, West Virginia to Ancil Kesling and Edna (nee Fortney).
Helen married Artis Davis and enjoyed 57 years together, raising 5 children and sharing her time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was known as “MAMAW to the world. Helen was employed as a Nurse’s Aide for years at Pearlview Nursing Home.
Surviving family includes her loving husband, children; Ken (wife Belinda), Rainie, Allan, Mark (wife Deanna), and Rick, grandchildren; Little Ken, Ryan, Amanda, Eric, Chris, Nathan, Phillip, Mark, Tanya, Tashia, Bub, Nicole and great grandchildren; Alexa, Jackson, Hunter, Hailey, Katie, Zackary, Joshua, Tryston, Austin, Landen, and an expected baby girl on the way, her sister, Twila (husband Charles) Hume and extended family; Maxine, Betty Jo, Tom, Missy, Robby, Genni, Mikey, Hannah, Taylor, Laura, Angel, Michael, KC, Austin, Rosalie, and Ginger.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings; Ancil Jr., Raymon, and Iona Harris.
There will be no visitation or service.
Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road Brunswick were entrusted with her arrangements.
