JAMES KMIEC

James T. Kmiec, 77, of Medina, passed away on September 16, 2022. He was born in Cleveland to Joseph and Anna (Zarko) Kmiec. James was an honorable Navy veteran. After his naval service, James was an electrician for AT&T until his retirement.

From home additions, updates to repairs he was truly a jack of all trades. He enjoyed boating, traveling, watching sports, and keeping their yard beautiful. But his main joys in life were his children Matthew and Lisa along with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his beloved wife of almost 49 years, Linda (Kleis) Kmiec; children, Matthew (Mindy) Kmiec and Lisa (Steven) Umfleet; grandchildren,
Mitchell, Evelyn, and Owen; and brothers, Gene Kmiec and John Kmiec. James was preceded in death by his brother Jerry; brother-in-law Frank Kleis; and his parents.
