Photo: Obituary: James William Rogers of Massillon passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2013 in Akron, OH. He was born in Cleveland on October 22, 1937 to George and Margaret (Cunningham) Rogers. He was proud to have served his country in the U.S. Army. James worked as a Senior Development Officer for the City of Cleveland. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and friends. James is survived by his Children, Deanna (Robert) Upp, Martin, Margaret (Eric) Newhouse, Thomas and Noreen; Grandchildren, Ryan, Benjamin, Lee, Nicholas, Anne, Laura, Steven and Timothy; Sister, Sr. Patricia Ann Rogers, H.M. He is preceded in death by his parents. Friends may join the family for Visitation on Thursday, February 7, 2013 from 2-5pm; Service immediately following at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road (½ mile South of Route 303), Brunswick. Burial at a later date at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, OH.
