JANE FORD

Jane Ford, 75, of Garrettsville, passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2021. She was born in Ravenna, OH, on April 20, 1946, to the late Jonathan Lester "Les", and Kathleen (nee Hannan) Ford.

She retired in February of 2021, as a Clerk of Courts for Portage County. Jane really liked taking road trips and was proud to have visited at least 35 states. She was a talented sewer, and made many items of her own clothing. Jane treasured spending time with her grandson, Austin, who was her co-pilot for a few of her road trips.

Jane will be greatly missed by her children, Kevin DeZort and Randy DeZort; siblings, Janis Elliott, Jennifer (Jim) Post and Kenneth Ford; grandson, Austin, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Jim Hannan, Eddie Hannan, Larry Hannan, and Bill Gillespie.

Per Jane's wishes, she is to be cremated. A memorial visitation to honor Jane's memory will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022, from 2:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH, 44231. A memorial service will immediately follow at the funeral home.
