JEAN E. LINDSAY
April 23, 1931 — February 5, 2012
Jean E. Lindsay, 80 years old of Nelson Township, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2012 at University Hospital in Cleveland. She was born, April 23, 1931 in Oakville, Ontario to Charles and Gladys (Lawrence) Ford.
Jean was a homemaker and a member of Nelson United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Hiram knitting group and the Nelson Methodist Church knitting group. She cherished spending time with her beloved family and friends.
She is survived by her children Susan (Michael) Gillespie of N. Ridgeville, Patrice (Walter) Angeli of Garrettsville, James P. Lindsay of Garrettsville, JoAnne (Randy) Stanton of Texas and Mary Gulla of Aurora, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James and many siblings.
A memorial service will be held at Nelson United Methodist Church on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 1 PM with Pastor Rick Hughes officiating. Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231 have been entrusted with the final arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jean’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105.
